GuideTake Terms of Service

These terms govern access to and use of GuideTake. By creating an account, joining a workspace, or using a published GuideTake experience, you agree to these terms.

Accounts and workspaces

You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. A workspace owner controls membership, roles, settings, published content, and workspace data. If you use GuideTake for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you upload or create. You grant GuideTake a limited, worldwide license to host, copy, transform, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate and improve the service. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions required to use the content and to process any personal information it contains.

Published guides and visitor responses

Workspace members decide whether guides and Help Centers are public, password-protected, or restricted. They are responsible for reviewing content before publication and for using form responses and analytics lawfully. Public links may be accessible to anyone who receives them unless additional protection is enabled.

AI-generated output

Translations, answers, summaries, and voiceovers may contain mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing generated output before publishing or relying on it. GuideTake does not guarantee that generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for a particular use.

Acceptable use

You may not use GuideTake to violate law or third-party rights; distribute malware or deceptive content; harass others; attempt unauthorized access; interfere with service operation; evade usage limits; or scrape, resell, or reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Third-party services

GuideTake relies on third-party hosting, storage, authentication, email, AI, and voice services. Their availability and processing may be subject to separate terms. We are not responsible for third-party products that you connect or link from GuideTake.

Paid services

If you purchase a paid plan, the price, billing period, included limits, taxes, renewal, and cancellation terms shown at checkout or in your order apply. You can request a full refund within 7 days of purchase. After that period, fees already incurred are non-refundable except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Service changes, suspension, and termination

We may change the service to improve security, reliability, or functionality. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, prevent harm, or address a material breach. You may stop using GuideTake at any time and can request account deletion through the product's account settings or support channel.

Intellectual property

GuideTake and its software, design, trademarks, and documentation are protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer GuideTake intellectual property to you.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties and do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GuideTake is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business opportunities. Liability that cannot legally be excluded remains unaffected.

Changes, governing law, and contact

We may update these terms and will provide reasonable notice of material changes. Applicable mandatory consumer and data-protection rights are not limited by these terms. Questions about these terms can be sent through the support channel shown inside GuideTake.
